Features and Services: piazza bologna veterinary centre
The Piazza Bologna Veterinary Centre offers various veterinary services. It has a clinic where it conducts examinations, surgical interventions and emergency treatment, as well as a laboratory where analyses, samples, ultrasound and x-rays with cutting-edge diagnostic systems are carried out.
Following their evaluation of an animal’s lifestyle and environment, the veterinary surgeon, will be able to plan a suitable programme of vaccination and to supply a specific health booklet with useful information regarding the type of vaccine, the date of administration and follow-up to be carried out at regular intervals.
INTERNAL MEDICINE – NEUTERING
The neutering of domestic animals is by now a routine operation, which avoids the birth of unwanted young and the incidence ofsexually transmitted infectious and viral diseases. Neutering is furthermore very important because it reduces the incidence of tumours of the breast, uterus and prostate.
INTERNAL MEDICINE – ORTHOPAEDICS
Specialised orthopaedic examinations are carried out in the studio on all animals, not just dogs and cats but also “non-conventional” animals such as rabbits, ferrets and birds.
